We only pass on personal data to external parties if this is necessary for the performance of a contract, if we are legally obliged to do so (e.g. disclosure of data to tax authorities), if we have a legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR in the disclosure, or if another legal basis permits the disclosure of the data. THE RESPECTIVE LEGAL BASIS ON WHICH PROCESSING IS BASED CAN BE FOUND IN THIS PRIVACY POLICY. IF YOU OBJECT, WE WILL NO LONGER PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA CONCERNED UNLESS WE CAN DEMONSTRATE COMPELLING LEGITIMATE GROUNDS FOR THE PROCESSING WHICH OVERRIDE YOUR INTERESTS, RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS, OR THE PROCESSING SERVES THE ESTABLISHMENT, EXERCISE OR DEFENCE OF LEGAL CLAIMS (OBJECTION UNDER ART. 21(1) GDPR).

The right to lodge a complaint is without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedies.
Right to data portability
You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in performance of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only be done insofar as it is technically feasible.
Access, rectification and erasure
Within the framework of the applicable statutory provisions, you have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients and the purpose of the data processing and, where applicable, a right to rectification or erasure of this data. You can contact us at any time about this and any other questions on the subject of personal data.

You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. You can contact us about this at any time. The right to restriction of processing exists in the following cases:

Cookies
Our websites use so called "cookies". Cookies are small data packets and do not cause any damage to your terminal device. They are stored on your terminal device either temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (permanent cookies). Session cookies are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Permanent cookies remain stored on your terminal device until you delete them yourself or until they are automatically deleted by your web browser.
Cookies may come from us (first party cookies) or from third party companies (so called third party cookies). Third party cookies enable the integration of certain services of third party companies within websites (e.g. cookies for processing payment services).
Cookies have various functions. Many cookies are technically necessary, as certain website functions would not work without them (e.g. the shopping basket function or the display of videos). Other cookies may be used to analyse user behaviour or for advertising purposes.
Cookies that are required to carry out the electronic communication process, to provide certain functions you have requested (e.g. the shopping basket function) or to optimise the website (e.g. cookies for measuring the web audience) (necessary cookies) are stored on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, unless another legal basis is stated. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing necessary cookies for the technically error free and optimised provision of its services. Where consent to the storage of cookies and comparable recognition technologies has been requested, processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of this consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG); consent can be withdrawn at any time.
You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be limited.

Time of the server request
IP address
This data is not merged with other data sources.
This data is collected on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error free presentation and optimisation of its website; for this purpose, the server log files must be recorded.
Contact form
If you send us enquiries via the contact form, your details from the enquiry form, including the contact details you provided there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case of follow up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.
This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your enquiry is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary for taking steps prior to entering into a contract. In all other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of enquiries addressed to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) if this has been requested; consent can be withdrawn at any time.
The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you ask us to erase it, withdraw your consent to storage or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after your enquiry has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions, in particular retention periods, remain unaffected.
Enquiries by email, phone or fax
If you contact us by email, phone or fax, your enquiry, including all resulting personal data (name, enquiry), will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling your request. We do not pass on this data without your consent.
This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your enquiry is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary for taking steps prior to entering into a contract. 6. Newsletter
Newsletter data
If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we need an email address from you as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the email address provided and that you agree to receive the newsletter. No further data is collected, or only on a voluntary basis. We use this data exclusively for sending the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties.
The data entered in the newsletter registration form is processed exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw the consent you have given to the storage of the data and the email address and to their use for sending the newsletter at any time, for example via the "unsubscribe" link in the newsletter. The lawfulness of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the withdrawal.
The data you have provided to us for the purpose of receiving the newsletter will be stored by us or the newsletter service provider until you unsubscribe from the newsletter, and will be deleted from the newsletter distribution list after you unsubscribe or once the purpose no longer applies. We reserve the right to delete or block email addresses from our newsletter distribution list at our own discretion within the scope of our legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Data stored by us for other purposes remains unaffected by this.
After you have been removed from the newsletter distribution list, your email address may be stored by us or the newsletter service provider in a blacklist if this is necessary to prevent future mailings. The data from the blacklist is used only for this purpose and is not merged with other data. This serves both your interest and our interest in complying with the statutory requirements when sending newsletters (legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Storage in the blacklist is not limited in time. You can object to the storage if your interests outweigh our legitimate interest.
Newsletter mailing to existing customers
If you order goods or services from us and provide your email address in the process, we may subsequently use this email address to send newsletters, provided that we inform you of this in advance. In such a case, the newsletter will only contain direct marketing for our own similar goods or services. You can cancel the receipt of this newsletter at any time. For this purpose, every newsletter contains a corresponding link. In this case, the legal basis for sending the newsletter is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR in conjunction with Section 7(3) of the German Act Against Unfair Competition (UWG).
After you have been removed from the newsletter distribution list, your email address may be stored by us in a blacklist to prevent future mailings to you.
7. Plugins and tools
Consent banner (SFM Consent)
This website uses its own consent tool, which runs entirely on our server. It ensures that your browser does not establish a connection to external servers before you give your consent: videos (Vimeo, YouTube), maps, statistics and other third party services are only loaded once you allow this in the banner or directly in the respective placeholder.
Your choice is stored in your browser in a cookie named "sfmc_consent" so that the banner does not reappear every time you visit. The cookie contains a random identifier, your selected settings and the time of the decision, and is deleted after 180 days. As proof of consent, we store this information on our server without the IP address. The legal basis is our legal obligation to be able to demonstrate consent (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR in conjunction with Art. 7(1) GDPR) and Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG for the technically necessary cookie.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the "Privacy settings" link at the bottom of every page.
SFM Insights (web analytics)
We analyse the use of this website with our own statistics software, which runs exclusively on our server. No data is passed on to third parties and no cookies are set.
Counting without consent: for every page view, we store the page viewed, the date with the hour and, if you arrive via a link on another website, that website's domain. Your IP address is not stored and no identifier is created. It is not possible to draw conclusions about your person. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in designing our website according to demand (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Statistics with consent: if you allow "Statistics" in the cookie banner, we additionally record the device class (smartphone, tablet or desktop) and which links or buttons you click. In order to be able to count visits, we create a shortened checksum (hash) from your IP address, your browser identifier and a random value newly generated every day. The IP address itself is not stored. The random value is discarded every night, so that the identifier can neither be attributed to you nor tracked over several days. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Section 25(1) TDDDG). You can withdraw it at any time in the cookie banner settings.
Cookie banner: how often the banner is displayed and which choices are made in it is counted only as a daily total, without any reference to a visitor.
Storage period: all statistics data is automatically deleted after 365 days.

The data collected during the analysis is forwarded to Google.
The reCAPTCHA analyses run entirely in the background. Website visitors are not informed that an analysis is taking place.
The data is stored and analysed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in protecting its web offerings from abusive automated spying and from spam. Where corresponding consent has been requested, processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG, insofar as the consent includes the storage of cookies or access to information on the user's terminal device (e.g. device fingerprinting) within the meaning of the TDDDG. Consent can be withdrawn at any time.

The company is certified under the "EU-US Data Privacy Framework" (DPF). The DPF is an agreement between the European Union and the USA intended to ensure compliance with European data protection standards for data processing in the USA. Spotify
Functions of the music service Spotify are integrated on this website. The provider is Spotify AB, Birger Jarlsgatan 61, 113 56 Stockholm, Sweden. You can recognise the Spotify plugins by the green logo on this website. An overview of the Spotify plugins can be found at:
https://developer.spotify.com.
As a result, when you visit this website, a direct connection can be established between your browser and the Spotify server via the plugin. Spotify thereby receives the information that you have visited this website with your IP address. If you click the Spotify button while logged into your Spotify account, you can link the content of this website to your Spotify profile. This allows Spotify to associate your visit to this website with your user account.
We would like to point out that cookies from Google Analytics are used when Spotify is used, so that your usage data may also be passed on to Google when you use Spotify. Google Analytics is a tool of the Google group, based in the USA, for analysing user behaviour. Spotify alone is responsible for this integration. As the website operator, we have no influence on this processing.
The data is stored and analysed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the appealing acoustic design of its website.
Further information on this can be found in Spotify's privacy policy:
https://www.spotify.com/de/legal/privacy-policy/.
If you do not want Spotify to be able to associate your visit to this website with your Spotify user account, please log out of your Spotify user account.

Typeform
We use Typeform from TYPEFORM SL, C/Bac de Roda, 163 (Local), 08018 Barcelona, Spain (Typeform) for our contact form[s]. This allows us to offer you a simple way to contact us.
For this purpose, we pass on the following personal data to Typeform:
[First name]
[Last name]
[Phone number]
[Email address]
[Company name]
Mandatory fields are marked with an *.
Typeform is a recipient of your personal data and acts as a processor on our behalf. The processing of the data specified in this section is required neither by law nor by contract. Without your consent and the transmission of your personal data, we cannot provide you with a contact form. However, you can reach us at the [email address given above / following email address]. The data is stored exclusively for the purpose of transmitting enquiries and responding to them. The mandatory fields serve to assign and respond to your request.
In addition, Typeform collects the following personal data with the help of cookies: information about your terminal device (IP address, device information, operating system, browser settings). Usage data is also collected, such as the date and time at which you used the contact form. Typeform needs this data to ensure the display and functionality of the contact form. This corresponds to Typeform's legitimate interest (pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and serves the performance of the contract (pursuant to Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Further information can be found at: https://help.typeform.com/hc/en-us/articles/360029581691-What-happens-to-my-data
Further information on options for objecting to and having data removed by Typeform can be found at: https://admin.typeform.com/to/dwk6gt
The legal basis for this processing is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time. The withdrawal can be made via the contact options provided. Your data will be processed for as long as the corresponding consent exists. Declaring the withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out up to that point.
Your data will be deleted after [completion of processing / one month / the end of the year]. [Pursuant to [Section 147 of the German Fiscal Code (AO) / Section 257 of the German Commercial Code (HGB)], a statutory retention period of [X] years applies to us for the following documents: [ ]] Apart from that, the data will be deleted after termination of the contract between us and Typeform, unless statutory requirements make further storage necessary.
Technical notes
Typeform sets approximately ten cookies with different periods of validity in order to collect information about the terminal device. These should be checked and listed.
Legal notes
This template only applies if no additional plugins such as Zapier, Google Analytics, Hubspot or Mailchimp are used. These must be checked separately. Furthermore, only the case in which Typeform is used for simple contact forms is covered here. Using Typeform for job applications, for example, requires additional conditions.
It is justifiable to base the use of the contact form on legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR instead of consent (see contact form). However, consent should preferably be used here, since in most cases there are alternatives to the external integration of a contact form, the personal data is not stored in encrypted form, Typeform generally has access to the data, and Typeform has a branch in the USA and operates its servers mainly there. https://help.typeform.com/hc/en-us/articles/360029581691-What-happens-to-my-data
Use of Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to analyse the use of our website. The data obtained is used to optimise our website and our advertising activities.
Google Analytics is provided to us by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google processes the website usage data on our behalf and contractually undertakes to take measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of the processed data.
During your visit to the website, the following data, among other things, is transmitted to Google:
- Pages viewed
- Orders, including revenue and products ordered
- The achievement of "website goals" (e.g. contact enquiries and newsletter sign ups)
- Your behaviour on the pages (for example time spent, clicks, scroll depth)
- Your approximate location (country and city)
- Your internet address (IP address)
- Technical information such as browser, internet provider, terminal device and screen resolution
- The source of your visit (i.e. via which website or which advertising medium you came to us)
- A randomly generated user ID
No personal data such as name, address or contact details is transmitted to Google Analytics.
This data is transferred to Google servers in the USA. We would like to point out that the same level of data protection as within the EU cannot be guaranteed in the USA.
Google Analytics stores cookies in your web browser for a period of two years from your last visit. These cookies contain a randomly generated user ID with which you can be recognised on future visits to the website.
The recorded data is stored together with the randomly generated user ID, which enables the analysis of pseudonymous user profiles. This user related data is automatically deleted after 14 months. Other data remains stored indefinitely in aggregated form.
If you do not agree to the collection, you can prevent it by installing the browser extension to deactivate Google Analytics once, or by rejecting the cookies via our cookie settings dialogue.
Use of Google Remarketing
We also use Google's remarketing function. This allows us to show you personalised advertising in suitable advertising spaces on other websites, based on the interests you have shown on our website. This option is limited to a maximum of 13 months.
Further information can be found in Google's privacy policy. You can prevent interest based advertising by installing this browser plugin.
