What clients want to know first.
Why do you not rely on AI generated videos?
Because people buy from people. No AI can create your event, your livestream or your real employees, and any competitor can build a generated video just like it in minutes. We still use AI every day, for transcription, subtitles, research and in the edit. Just not for what your customers will ultimately see and believe.
How much does a film on Sylt cost?
At Sylter Filmmanufaktur an event film costs from €2,900 per filming day, a livestream from €3,500, a recruitment film from €3,400 and a real estate film from €1,900 per property, all plus VAT. Livestreams are priced by duration, cameras and platforms. Corporate films and documentaries are priced by filming dates and scope. You receive a binding written quote within 48 hours of the first call.
How long does a production take?
From the first call to the finished film usually takes three to six weeks. The filming session itself normally takes half a day, and each person is in front of the camera for only 20 to 30 minutes of that.
Is a film worth it for a small business?
Often especially so. Small businesses have no marketing team, but they do have something unique that people need to see to understand. A well made film saves a lot of explaining and keeps working for years. Elektro Pahl received 21 applications from one recruitment film.
Do we have to speak on camera?
Only if you want to. We conduct interviews instead of making people learn lines, film in your usual working environment and edit so that only the good sentences remain. Alternatively we work with a voiceover or with pictures only.
Do we also get vertical videos for social media?
Yes, from the same shoot. We record in 4:3 and at least 4K and cut 16:9 for website and TV, 9:16 for Reels and TikTok, and 1:1 and 4:5 for the feed, without cropped heads.
Do you only film on Sylt?
No. Sylt is our base, and we film across Northern Germany, including North Frisia, Flensburg, Kiel and Hamburg, and nationwide, for example for the town of Neu-Isenburg in Hesse. We advise in German, English or Dutch.
