Most businesses on the island need both: moving images for social media and stills for their website, booking portals and press. We bring the photographer along when we are there anyway. That is Sven Erberich.
We have been making films since 2019 and have been based on Sylt since 2024.

Sylter Filmmanufaktur offers business photography on Sylt: team and corporate photos, images of hotels and holiday apartments, restaurants, real estate, events and portraits. Photos are usually taken by Sven Erberich, depending on availability as a separate appointment or alongside an ongoing film shoot, so you get films and photos from one appointment. We are based in Westerland, so there are no travel or accommodation costs. The photos are delivered digitally via your own download area, sorted and edited, with usage rights for your own channels.

Who takes the photos
Sven Erberich works on Sylt and in Munich and is usually with us when we film on the island. Before we send the quote, we check whether he is available on your date. If not, we tell you and suggest another day or someone from our team.
Weddings on Sylt
Sven photographs weddings himself. You book those directly with him; we cover businesses, real estate and events.
Film and photos in one appointment
If you book film and photos separately, you tidy up twice, line your people up twice and pay for the preparation twice. Together it takes one morning.

Film and photos are made in the same light, with the same colour palette. On your website that shows immediately, because nothing looks thrown together.

What determines the scope
How many subjects, how many people, how many rooms, and whether we need to set up lighting. A hotel room is quick; a whole house with team and exterior shots takes half a day.
Together with the film shoot
If we are with you anyway, the photography costs considerably less than a separate appointment. Travel, set up and preparation are only needed once.

The edited selection in full resolution plus a version for web and social media. No watermarks, no extra charge per image.
Delivery: You receive the photos via your own download area, sorted and edited, usually within one week. If something has to go out the same evening, for the press for example, we deliver individual images in advance.
Usage rights: For your own channels, website, booking portals, job adverts and press, without time limit. What is included is set out in writing in the quote, so nobody has to guess later.

48 hours - The shoot
We arrive with lighting and equipment, not just a camera. If we are filming at the same time, both run side by side without your business having to stop twice.
on site - Selection and editing
We sort, edit and deliver digitally. Urgent photos, for example for the press on the same evening, are sent to you in advance.

Where we photograph
Westerland, Kampen, List, Keitum, Wenningstedt, Rantum, Morsum, Hörnum and Tinnum. We are based in Westerland, so appointments at short notice and second attempts in bad weather are no problem.
We also photograph on the mainland, from Niebüll and Husum to Flensburg, Kiel and Hamburg. There we like to bundle appointments, so the travel costs do not have to be paid with every single job.

Usually Sven Erberich. If he is already booked on your preferred date, we will tell you and suggest another day or someone from our team.
How much does a photo shoot on Sylt cost?
That depends on the scope: how many subjects, how many people and whether we need to set up lighting. After our first conversation you receive a written quote within 48 hours, with a fixed price and no timesheets. It becomes cheaper if we are with you for a film shoot anyway.
Can I get photos and a film from one appointment?
Yes, that is the most common case. While we film, Sven takes photos at the same time. You tidy up once, your people are ready once, and in the end you have moving images for social media and stills for your website and press in the same visual style.
How quickly will I get the photos?
Usually within one week, as an edited selection via your own download area. If something has to go out the same evening, for the press for example, we deliver individual images in advance.
Who owns the photos?
You receive usage rights without time limit for your own channels, website, booking portals, job adverts and press. The scope is set out in writing in the quote. The copyright stays with the photographer, which is why a photo credit is included when the images are published.
Do you also photograph weddings on Sylt?
Weddings are Sven's own field; you book him directly via svenerberich.com. We concentrate on businesses, real estate and events. Enquiries for companies, properties and events continue to go through the form at the bottom of this page.
Do you also offer aerial photos?
Yes. We fly on Sylt with permits, a remote pilot certificate and insurance. What is allowed and what it costs is explained on our page about drone filming on Sylt.
Do you also take photos in bad weather?
Yes, and on Sylt that is the rule rather than the exception. For interior shots we bring our own lighting. For outdoor subjects we plan a backup window, because we are based on the island and can head out again at short notice.
